Murphy & Dora are the mini mascots of Radio Newcastle's 'Nightshift' who enjoy sending postcards from their travels to radio presenter, Ian Robinson. murphyanddorastravels.blogspot.com has become a sister blog to Ian's own blog, truckshunters.blogspot.com. Please note that neither blog is associated with the BBC. They are purely social network blogs for like-minded folk. We welcome new friends into our network to read and use both blogs.

Ahh it was a grand night out.
So glad Paul could make it too.
So very good to meet the faces behind the blog postings and as expected we all jelled just like the close gang we are.
Real pleasure tonight...
:-)
Lawrence
Looks like you had a great time, dying to hear all about it. Pleased that Paul managed to make it too. He didn't give any hints on his show!
I hope you are all settled in and are nice and warm. The lake district is such a lovely area, especially when the sun shines...
No doubt Murphy and Dora will be out on the town tonight, partying the night away.
Hi Folks,
We're having a lovely relaxing time in Bowness. We awoke to a beautiful snow scene this morning, so it wasn't long before I was outside with my camera. This afternoon we took the ferry to Ambleside.
Inga, I hope you are back home now, with your electricity on.
I hope everyone is keeping safe & warm.
Lots of love,
Vivienne xxx
Just called in to do a bit of dusting and turn the heating back on. The kettle is primed.Looking forward to seeing your photos.
Thanks Sid,
Back tomorrow with lots of photos, although not of me! I'm looking forward to that cuppa!
Hi Folks!
Lovely cup of tea Sid, and the place looks spotless. Thanks for looking after the old ship.
I hope everyone is keeping well. I guess Maureen is still having pc problems. Great to have you back with us Inga.
