Murphy & Dora are the mini mascots of Radio Newcastle's 'Nightshift' who enjoy sending postcards from their travels to radio presenter, Ian Robinson. murphyanddorastravels.blogspot.com has become a sister blog to Ian's own blog, truckshunters.blogspot.com. Please note that neither blog is associated with the BBC. They are purely social network blogs for like-minded folk. We welcome new friends into our network to read and use both blogs.

Good morning folks!
Well it's snowing heavily as I'm posting these photos! If you're wondering about the white globes in amongst the snowflakes in the pictures, they appear to be orbs. Some have joined together (three) and moved about. They appear in different places on a series of photos, although they weren't visible to the naked eye!
Glad you are home safe and sound Vivienne. Lovely photos, I've just turned the heating up a notch...
Hi Sid,
Thanks for your kind words. It's been really cold today. I had to brave the cold and snow to fill up my bird-feeders. Then I took out and dusted my bus pass, so I could go shopping without using the car. Well, I drove as far as the Metrocentre, after clearing my drive, then took the bus to Newcastle. There were very few people in the Metrocentre, 'though a few more in Newcastle.
