Hey, Murphy - Hey, Dora you all come back here! I didn't mean to scare you. I promise I won't bite, spit or crawl on you!

Hello Inga,

Well that Katydid monster is bigger than Murphy and has legs as long as mine! Wouldn't you run away and hide from it if you were us?

I guess everyone is busy this week. Maybe they're shopping for our Christmas presents. I like jewellery and Murphy likes his drinks!!!

Luv Dora xx and Murphy xx

To be honest, it scared me just a little when I first saw it! We do see one of those once in a while but I almost stepped on it and it my be a little bigger than any of them I have seen before. But when I made the association with it sitting there "on my doorstep", I went back in to get the camera so I could send you this picture.
Yes, I've noticed that things have been quiet around the blogs today. They certainly were not around my shop. Payed bills, finished some framing for pick up in Kennett tomorrow and some people had to have 2 pictures framed today. Sometimes I can do rush orders like that and I could today. Another customer came in to make a down payment and wanted to see her picture. Why, I don't know but I went to get it and could not find it !!! Well, I'll spare you the details because I did eventually find it but I had a few anxious moments, I can tell you.

Hi Inga,

I certainly wouldn't like to find one of those creatures in my house, or worse still, in the car when I'm driving on a busy road where I can't stop! I dread to think what would happen, and where my car may end up!

I can just imagine your anxiety levels soaring when you couldn't find your customer's picture. I'm glad you found it.

Hi again, you guys still awake? I just erased what I wrote about some other creatures we have to deal with around here. However, I decided that it may not be the best way to keep you awake. Some other time maybe.
I wish I had bought some campaign paraphenalia last Saturday BEFORE Obama got elected! I just didn't think about it, nor for that matter, did I think he would make it. I was notified by one of my book websites about the signed books by and about Obama available. You would not believe the prices! They range from $750 to - wait for it - $250,000.00. Wonder if they would take any signed by McCain on trade :-) ?

Hi Inga,

Out of interest I looked on Ebay and found a copy of The New York Times (Obama Wins!) 5th Novenber, for £63.23 plus shipping costs of £15.80 if you buy it now. The shipping costs are to the UK, so may be less for you.

There's a copy of Obama's signed book too, and the current bid is $560.99 with 1day 15hrs to go. Shipping is free (from Alabama). The book comes with a convention ticket.

I wish I'd thought of it too. I'll keep an eye on the price, as it could go a lot higher.
