Welcome to our new page! We enjoyed a lovely relaxing day on Holy Island about a month ago. It was a warm sunny day, although a heat haze concealed the blue skies we left behind on the mainland.

Sid - re: ad. I am with you on that one.
Vivienne, I guess that answers your question as well :-) and yes, you heard it right, re Sheryl Crow's mother.
Here I go again with the questions: Is there any way to put the comment box at the bottom of the postings as it is on Ian's blog? I find it more convenient when writing a comment. I have found a way to work around having the comment box at the top, but could you check with M&D about the logistics of this little question of format?

Mornin All,
Inga, this morning was the time you should have listened to the live bit. Ian had words 'jokingly' with Charlie Charlton (newsgirl) because she talked about her holiday instead of asking about his. Then Paul Mooney (weather) because he didn't ask either, and added insult to injury by asking if Ian had been away! Mike Parr, said that he was pleased to have him back as he was better than 'that other guy' (Michael Poulter) Great fun! Ian gave the blog a good mention and asked people to check it out as we are looking for new people to join us. All in all, a good 'live' half hour, thanks Ian, that's why we listen to you, (and WE missed you!)

Hello Inga,

We were aware of the difficulty concerning the Comments Box and have looked into it this morning.

We've searched through the page set up but can't find a way of moving the Comments Box. There are different templets to use when setting up a blog, but that would entail changing the blog completely if we changed the templet, and that may be more confusing. We'll keep changing the page more frequently so bloggers don't have so far to scroll.

Luv Murphy xx and Dora xx

p.s. I everyone would like us to change the templet to the one used by Ian on Truckshunters we will gladly oblige.

Good morning all,

You will be pleased to learn that Blog Estates have gone into liquidation and removed all their ads from the blog. Sincere apologies for the scare I gave you.

Love, Vivienne xxx

Hi again,

Just ticking the box!

Incidently, blogs are free. You can't buy and sell them, and only the blog owner may delete his/ her own blog.

Love, Vivienne xxx

Must have that Monday morning syndrome. I still didn't tick the box, but have now!

Hi All,
You wouldn't believe it but I decided to listen to Radio Devon at 8.50 tonight and the first thing they mentioned was 'Ingas' question!' I couldn't believe that I'd actually tuned in at exactly the right time, what a coincidence! Anyway, Hildie, the man who rang in asked "in it's original state had it been living?" and they said no. So I'm afraid that's your xmas tree idea gone. He had been thinking of a railway sleeper. Someone else suggested skis and they were wrong so I'm afraid it's back to the drawing board...

Hello everybody, I had been wondering what was going on with the Devon puzzle, since I did not get to listen yesterday and just now was able to tune in. I just knew Christmas Tree was the right answer and had hoped that one of you would call. I am surprised that they answered a question about the puzzle. That's like giving a clue and they have haven't done much of that at all. I wonder how long they are going to run this? I know they have been doing it at least 4 weeks. I wish they would just put everybody out of their misery and go on to something else :-)

Hi Inga,
I think that they said another 6 days, maybe they feel that no one is going to get it. Duncan Warren asked if they had a question before they gave their answer, although the second man, just went straight in with skis.

Hi Maureen - I cannot believe I forgot to tell you earlier but maybe I was just too tired to think. I did actually manage to stay up Monday night until Tuesday morning to hear Ian live. Problem is - it just makes want more of that, doesn't it?

Hildie, Ian just read your Burger King joke.

Has everybody besides Maureen and I fallen off of the edge of the world or is something wonderful happening up North that keeps all of you busy - hope it's the latter :-)

Hi Everyone,

I heard two bits of the Nightshift last night and Ian was talking about cattle on both occasions. Firstly, he was discussing the cost to the environment of the beef industry - how much it costs to feed cattle and the vast amounts of methane gas they produce. Secondly, he was telling a tale of cattle stampeding on the Isle of Wight, when the Red Arrows were performing at an air show. Ian was laughing at the thought of the people trying to escape the stampeding0 cattle by climbing on top of their cars! I didn't hear who sent in the stories, but perhaps it was one of you?
