Murphy & Dora are the mini mascots of Radio Newcastle's 'Nightshift' who enjoy sending postcards from their travels to radio presenter, Ian Robinson. murphyanddorastravels.blogspot.com has become a sister blog to Ian's own blog, truckshunters.blogspot.com. Please note that neither blog is associated with the BBC. They are purely social network blogs for like-minded folk. We welcome new friends into our network to read and use both blogs.

I thoroughly enjoyed today Vivienne, so nice to see everyone.
We have been so lucky with the weather. Is it just me or do we look like an odd bunch... you know, like we just escaped from somewhere. lol.
Hi Sid,
Yes, it was a super day .... pretty good weather, excellent company, interesting surroundings, lots of laughs and a great turn out!!!
I agree, we do look a odd bunch. We managed to escape from the Blog for a while, but now we're safe and sound, back in our rightful place!
Was Jean surprised to see your copy of St. Mary's Register with the record of her and her brothers' births? I bet they're the only triplets recorded in the register.
I laughed when I downloaded my photos and saw Hildie has her eyes closed on a few of the pictures, in spite of our prompts to her to keep them open!!!
I think the expression 'tickled pink' describes how Jean feels about seeing the printout of the register.
Lovely pics again Vivienne. You've really captured the atmosphere on the day, or should I say ambience? If they don't encourage people to join in nothing will. I sent my pics to Ian as requested, unfortunately he's not as quick on the draw as us! (I would feel that something was missing if I didn't at least, check on the blog every day. Is that sad?)
I must either be very nosey or sad Maureen. Checking Truckshunters and Murphy's, is something I do loads of times a day. I really should get out more ...
Nice to know that I have company Sid...
