Many thanks! It was luck actually as I didn't know whether they would turn out at all. We weren't supposed to be recording videos etc., so I guessed we shouldn't be taking photos too. I waited until the second half, so missed Cliff in his pink jacket and his glittering pink tie. I put the camera on a no flash setting, and usually people turn out blurred. However, there was so much light emitting from the monitors that the pictures were ok. I only dared to take a half a dozen. I could hardly see the stage due to folk in front, so had to hold the camera up high. I tried to take one or two on my mobile phone, but those pictures were too dark.
I was brought up on Cliff and The Shadows as my sister was a fan. I still have a soft spot for him, he hasn't had fair deal from the radio stations has he? I watched Piers Morgan's interviews with Cliff a couple of nights ago, very interesting to see him relaxed and chatting to Piers. They even took him back to his home in London when he started with the Shadows, and his home in Barbados ... fabulous!
