Murphy & Dora are the mini mascots of Radio Newcastle's 'Nightshift' who enjoy sending postcards from their travels to radio presenter, Ian Robinson. murphyanddorastravels.blogspot.com has become a sister blog to Ian's own blog, truckshunters.blogspot.com. Please note that neither blog is associated with the BBC. They are purely social network blogs for like-minded folk. We welcome new friends into our network to read and use both blogs.

And a smashing time was had by all.
How did you get them all to pose Vivienne...
Great photos.
Hi Sid,
Thanks! I think Hildie will agree that I took loads of photos in the hope I could capture one or two good shots. It was difficult to line up the camera through the cage bars and get a clear view of the birds. The rabbit was tiny, but it looks huge in my photo!
Lovely photos as always Vivienne. I hearby appoint you official Truckshunter photographer. It takes some dedication to tear yourself away to take them. I'm always too busy talking, or maybe you'd noticed ...
Thanks a lot, they are a lovely reminder of what a great day we had. (I see that I've joined Hildie in the eye closing championships, there's always one isn't there?)
Technology is here to solve the eye closing reflex ladies. Some of the latest digital cameras sense when someone blinks, and automatically takes a second photo. I hear tell of one that knows when someone isn't smiling...although what it does about that, is anyone's guess.
I see you had a 'Scoop' with your pic of the trolley statue. The grand opening for it was on the tv last night. Well done Vivienne.
Thanks Sid. xxx
