Murphy & Dora are the mini mascots of Radio Newcastle's 'Nightshift' who enjoy sending postcards from their travels to radio presenter, Ian Robinson. murphyanddorastravels.blogspot.com has become a sister blog to Ian's own blog, truckshunters.blogspot.com. Please note that neither blog is associated with the BBC. They are purely social network blogs for like-minded folk. We welcome new friends into our network to read and use both blogs.

Hello Friends!
We thought a new posting was in order, so have posted these recent pictures of the deer in the grounds of Raby Castle. We didn't see the white deer on the previous set of photos. We're wondering where they came from. Perhaps they were hidden against the snow last time?
Luv Murphy xx and Dora xx
Lovely pictures again Murphy and Dora, I like Raby Castle it's a peaceful kind of place isn't it? Nice at Christmas when the Victorian Fair is on. Now there's an idea for a shunt venue ...
By the way, I've been told that Tanfield gets packed on Bank Holidays it'll be nice to see Ian mixing in with 'his' public. You might be mobbed!
Hi Maureen,
Good idea about the Victorian Fair at Raby Castle. I think I recall Hildie being disappointed at missing Beamish Fair last Christmas. Maybe we should do the rounds and visit a few?
I'm a bit worried about Tanfield now. I hope we can get seats on the train! I've a feeling I'm going to be asked to work that day, but I'll see if they can find someone else. It's not my usual day but I think that's the week my line manager is on holiday. I'm going in this Sunday as she's been on a First Aid Course for the past four days at Scot's Gap. She's a volunteer too so I don't blame her for wanting a day off!
